Steve Wilby purchased his first truck and trailer when he was 23 in 1985 and was soon approached by numerous companies to transport freight due to his high level of service given, so as those companies grew Steve purchased extra equipment to handle their demands. Requirements for different trailers became apparent to cope with the growing demand and Steve keep purchasing equipment to fulfil needs and had employ more staff to handle these needs, but only employed people he knew of high standards, most of those people are still employed today by SWT. Over-dimensional loads became a regular request and now specialize in transportation of indivisible items Australia wide on a daily basis.
